Description: Hawaii expenditures data was obtained from the Hawaii Campaign Spending Commission. Data is available from 2006 on and has been updated through 2023.
Each record is a single campaign expenditure made to an outside vendor for goods or services. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
