Description: Indiana expenditures data was obtained from the Indiana Election Division. Data was scraped from the data download page. Annual bulk files are found on the Data Download page. Data is available from 2000 on and has been updated through Nov. 19, 2019.
Each record is a single campaign expenditure made to an outside vendor for goods or services. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
