Collection: Money in politics
Description: Massachusetts expenditures data was obtained from the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance. Data is available from 2001 on and has been updated through 2019.
Each record is a single campaign expenditure made to an outside vendor for goods or services. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
