Description: Vermont expenditures data was obtained from the Vermont Secretary of State. Data is exported from the campaign finance portal. Data is available from 2008 and has been updated through May 2023.
Each record is a single campaign expenditure made to an outside vendor. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
