Description: Idaho contributions data was obtained from the Secretary of State's Data Download page. Data for 2019 and 2020 was downloaded from the Secretary of State's public portal. The two sources were combined into a single file. Data is available from 1999 on and has been updated through Oct. 5, 2020.
Each record is a single campaign contribution made to a political campaign from an individual or business. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
