Description: Data is from the Alabama Ethics Commission. The data is available from 2008 to June, 2023. Each record represents a relationship between a registered lobbyist and a principle client. The full data set contains all original variables and new variables added with minimally, consistently, and confidently normalized character strings. These normalized strings are those searched from the Accountability database. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
