Description: New York City Office of Citywide Purchasing (OCP) via the city’s OpenData portal. It was last updated May 28, 2020. Usual efforts to confirm the database were not made given the COVID-19 pandemic demanding full focus from city agencies. Each record represents a single contract or one-time procurement between the City government and an outside vendor providing goods or services. The full data set contains all original variables and new variables added with minimally, consistently, and confidently normalized character strings. These normalized strings are those searched from the Accountability database. Data was processed using R software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
