Description: Data is from the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration and obtained from the state Transparency portal. It contains data updated through the end of 2022. Each record represents a single contract between a state agency and an outside vendor providing goods or services on an ongoing or one-time basis. The full data set contains all original variables and new variables added with minimally, consistently, and confidently normalized character strings. These normalized strings are those searched from the Accountability database. Data was processed using R software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
