Description: Data is from the Hawaii State Procurement Office and is distributed through their Hawaii Awards & Notices Data System (HANDS) . It was last updated May 14, 2020. Each record represents a single contract or purchase order between a state agency and an outside vendor providing goods or services. The full data set contains all original variables and new variables added with minimally, consistently, and confidently normalized character strings. These normalized strings are those searched from the Accountability database. Data was processed using R software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
