Description: Data is from the Washington state Department of Enterprise Services and can be accessed from the state Open Data portal under the title "Master Contract Sales Data by Customer, Contract, Vendor". It contains data updated through February 2023. Each record represents a single contract or purchase order between a state agency and an outside vendor providing goods or services. The full data set contains all original variables and new variables added with minimally, consistently, and confidently normalized character strings. These normalized strings are those searched from the Accountability database. Data was processed using R software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
