Description: Data is from the Tennessee Central Procurement Office (CPO) via the state's Edison Supplier Portal. The data was last updated on May 28, 2020. Each record represents a single contract or purchase order between a state agency and an outside vendor providing goods or services. The full data set contains all original variables and new variables added with minimally, consistently, and confidently normalized character strings. These normalized strings are those searched from the Accountability database. Data was processed using R software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
