Collection: Money in politics
Description: Massachusetts contributions data was obtained from the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political. The data is provided as a Microsoft Access database file. Data is available from 2002 on and has been updated through 2020.
Each record is a single campaign contribution made to a political campaign from an individual or business. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
