Description: The database of registered voters in Connecticut was obtained by Secretary of State’s office for a fee of $300 and delivered on compact disc. The data was received in September of 2020 and processed in November. Data was combined with similar data from June of 2019, with duplicate voters removed. Each record represents a registered voter in the state of Connecticut, including voters recently removed from the roll along with the removal reason. The full data set contains all original variables and new variables added with minimally, consistently, and confidently normalized character strings. These normalized strings are those searched from the Accountability database. Data was processed using R software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
