Collection: Public employees
Description: Every four years, just after the Presidential election, the United States Government Policy and Supporting Positions, commonly known as the Plum Book, is published, alternately, by the Senate and the House. The Plum Book is used to identify presidentially appointed positions within the Federal Government. The date and year associated with these records is the publication date of the edition containing the position description. The pay associated with each position is described as either a daily/annual salary, general schedule (GS) grade, or executive schedule (ES) level.
