Collection: Money in politics
Description: Vermont contributions data was obtained from the Elections Division. Data is exported from a blank search of the campaign finance portal. Data is available from 2013 on and has been updated through 2018.
Each record is a single campaign contribution made to a political campaign from an individual or business. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
