Collection: Money in politics
Description: North Dakota contributions data was obtained from the North Dakota Secretary of State via a state records request submitted by journalism students at American University. Data is available from 2014 on and has been updated through 2022.
Each record is a single campaign contribution made to a political campaign from an individual or business. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
