Description: Minnesota state contracts were requested from the Minnesota Office of State Procurement under the Minnesota Data Practices Act § 13.01 et seq. The request was submitted to the Data Practices Compliance Official on October 10, 2021. Data was provided in monthly Excel files on November 20, 2022.
Each record is a single contract between the state and an outside vendor for goods or services. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
