Description: Texas licenses are obtained from the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation, which provides a bulk download of active licenses issued. This data was taken on May 16, 2022.
Each record is a single license or certification issued to a business in Texas. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
