Description: Illinois licenses are obtained from the state data portal and provided by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. The dataset was created on October 12, 2027 and last updated May 22, 2022. The data was collected on March 26, 2022 using the provided API to request all licenses.
Each record is a single license issued to a business in the state of Illinois. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
