Description: Connecticut contributions data was obtained from SEEC Campaign Reporting Information System public search portal. Data is available from 1999, but files from 1999 to 2000 were combined into a single file with shared columns. Data was last updated in 2023.
Each record is a single campaign contribution made to a political campaign from an individual or business. The full data files contain all original columns. New columns with normalized data are used for searches. Data processing was done using open-source software and is documented on the Accountability Project GitHub repository.
