Description: Itemized expenditures of the U.S. Senate from the semiannual Report of the Secretary of the Senate, published by the Secretary of the Senate, April 2011 through March 2026 (30 reports): payments by every Senate office (senators' personal offices, committees, leadership and officers) to vendors and staff, with payee, dates, description and amount, plus payroll. The Senate publishes these reports only as PDFs; they were converted to data with a parser first written for the Sunlight Foundation (github.com/jsfenfen/senate_disbursements) and updated in 2026. About 0.1% of printed lines could not be parsed. Year is the funding (fiscal) year when the line has a single one, otherwise the year posted.
